Memorable Season

I’m still posting 20+ mile weeks even if it required a Fri-Sat-Sun surge to keep on pace. Here we are at the end of May and I’m on an annual miles trend line that hasn’t been seen since 2008 and 2009. That’s a point of pride. Another 1,000 mile year is still attainable even without marathon training and a 26.2-race.

There are bound to be a few hiccups but I just need to keep getting up early, or more importantly going to bed early so I don’t suffer from tiredness. That was certainly an issue in late May, what with all the high-pressure work that was getting done.

I am feeling pangs for a Rhode Island summer but it’s still two months away. In between, Mrs. T and I will sojourn up to Ft. Benning for the graduation of 2LT Phoebe C. Thomas, US Army Reserve. Then I’ll visit Baltimore for the annual PR conference. The end of school is a relieving time.

Run on friends.
